Java EE Applications Learning Trail
What Is a Java EE Application?
Like standard web applications, Java Enterprise EditionTM (Java EE)
applications are deployed to servers and often accessed through a web browser. Java EE
applications offer a much richer set of functionality, from web services to Enterprise JavaBeansTM
technology. Java EE applications are deployed to a Java EE application server like
the Sun Java System Application Server.
